Biography :
Starlifter is the name of an airliner of the fifties used in the United States. This name was taken to a military transport plane jet. Literally it means a lift to the stars. The word 'lifteur' is also a description in English of some flying saucers, like that of 'Roswell'. Needless to say I am a big fan of science fiction and anything that relates to technology and science in general. I am not a born musician, or a descendant of artist. My approach to music composition was by chance. Music now takes a prominent place in my life. It keeps my psychological balance by avoiding to let me dive into the waves to the soul. To return to musical instruments, I have not learned nstrument nor music theory. I just felt in love at the age of sixteen years for synthesizers. Taxi girl, Jean Michel Jarre, Gary Numan, Vince Clarke have had a strong and lasting impact on my mind as we can hear in my music. I sing my songs because it is difficult to find singers or singers in the right profile and resistant over time, it is clearly very easy to get discouraged when that does not work on any results or recovery. Thierry helps me with his kindness, despite the personal problems facing the keyboards and guitars. These compositions are evolving and will soon present in the directory Starlifter. A word also on SIMOND Sebastian and Emma, who come and go in training sandstone compositions. Sebastian is a musician and brings a classic ear very critical but constructive, and Emma is a born painter and sculptor. Her angelic voice contrasts very well with the sounds of machines.
