Synopsis :
Kiyoko Tominari, 16, is horrify to hear that the boy whom she had clumsily tried to declare his love four years earlier, will be in his hight school for the new school year. She looks disapprovingly on Tommy's behavior who acts as though nothing had happened. Not to mention that he introduces to Kiyoko his girlfriend, who has one desire : becoming the best friend of Kiyoko ! Heartbroken, Kiyoko is on the point of living an eventful beginning term.

Kiyoko Tominari is a hight school studient of 16 years old and a dynamic girl. For a mysterious reason, she decided one day to break off all relation with Tommy, her childhood friend. At first sight, she may seem to be cold and distant. She internalizes her feelings and share them with no one, not even her twin Kenji, with whom she is very close. Her pains, her suffering, she consigns them to her diary.
Kenji Tominari is the twin of Kiyoko and sharing always everything with her. However, he does not understand why Kiyoki has such animosity towards their mutual friend, Tommy. Reasonable and diplomat, he does his best to calm the atmosphere and reconcile his sister with his friends Tommy and Sachiko, but unsuccessfully.
Tommy Hiromoto is an energetic and extrovert teen of 17 years old. He's going out with the shy girl, Sachiko Matsushida, two years younger. He keeps a wonderful souvenir of his friendship with Kiyoko he didn't have news any more for four years. Together again, he has to face the contemptous attitute of Kiyoko towards him which so obsesses him until becoming violent and careless towards his girlfriend just for an explanation.
Sachiko Matsushida is 15. She's Tommy's girlfriend. She has a shy and reserved nature, she tries to be discrete and not to offend anyone. It's wondered what links her with Tommy, because everything seems to opposed them. Yet, Sachiko would like to break her image of little well-behaved girl. For fear that she's a burden to Tommy, she attempts to become more independent and to solve her problems without anyone's help. But that might to regret it...
Akemi Hanajima, 17, is a bloody stuck-up girl ! Since she set eyes on Tommy, she only has an idea in her mind : becoming his girlfriend ! Thus, she's going to lead a merciless war against Sachiko, her main obstacle. The best Akemi's weapon is blackmail, she uses for her reign of terror among high school students. Whatever the consequences on the others, as her whims will be fulfilled. Akemi will be an angel for Tommy, but a demon for her enemies.
Yuki Furisawa is the only true friend of Akemi. Loyal, she follows her everywhere and blindly fills her all desires. With a retiring temper, she seems not to be endowed with free will. Nothing seems too much to satisfy her friend. However, the growing interest that Akemi has towards Tommy is going to shake the passivity of Yuki.
Sei Fujihara is a young photographer of 21 years old. Gifted child, he left his family very early to satisfy his passion for photography. He lived abroad for a long time, and get a nice place in this profession. He's now back in Japan for the work, in particular to work with Kiyoko's mother who is a mode stylist. With his gentle temperament, he gives good advices to Kiyoko. In difficult times, he's a trusty ally. But while love comes, Sei seems to loose a bit of his agreeable insurance.
Sohpia, 22-year-old, has a French father and a Japanese mother. She knows Sei for years. She's mysterious and exuberant together. She rather has a dynamic temperament, she loves things directly progress. What irritates Sophia the most is people they're spoon-fed. So, she does not hesitate to change things when it needs. And while Sophia has an idea in her mind, she doesn't spill the beans any more!

- Kiyoko Tominari, 16 ans, découvre avec horreur que le garçon à qui elle avait tenté maladroitement de déclarer sa flamme quatre ans plus tôt, sera dans son lycée à la rentrée. Elle voit d'un très mauvais œil Tommy agir comme si rien ne s'était passé. Sans compter qu'il lui présente sa petite amie qui, elle, n'a qu'une envie: devenir la meilleure amie de Kiyoko ! La mort dans l'âme, Kiyoko s'apprête à vivre une rentrée mouvementée.
♪ Kiyoko Tominari est une lycéenne de 16 ans au caractère bien trempé. Pour une raison encore mystérieuse, elle décide un jour de couper les ponts avec Tommy, son ami d'enfance. Au premier abord, elle peut sembler froide et distante. Elle intériorise ses sentiments et ne se livre à personne, pas même à Kenji son frère jumeau, de qui elle est pourtant très proche. Ses peines, ses souffrances elle les confie à son journal intime.
♪ Kenji Tominari est le frère jumeau de Kiyoko et partage tout avec elle depuis toujours. Il ne comprend néanmoins pas pourquoi celle-ci entretient une telle animosité à l'égard de leur ami commun, Tommy. D'un caractère modéré et diplomate, il fait tout pour apaiser l'atmosphère et réconcilier sa soeur avec ses amis Tommy et Sachiko, sans grand succès.
♪ Tommy Hiromoto est un adolescent énergique et extraverti de 17 ans. Il sort avec la timide Sachiko Matsushida, de deux ans sa cadette.Il garde un souvenir enchanteur de son amitié avec Kiyoko dont il n’avait plus de nouvelle depuis quatre ans. Désormais réunis, l'attitude dédaigneuse de celle-ci à son égard l'obsède tant, qu'il va jusqu'à faire preuve de violence et à négliger sa petite amie pour lui arracher une explication.
♪ Sachiko Matsushida a 15 ans. C’est la petite amie de Tommy. D’un naturel plutôt timide et réservé, elle s'applique à se montrer discrète et à ne heurter personne. C'est à se demander ce qui l’unit à Tommy, car tout semble les opposer. Pourtant, Sachiko souhaiterait casser son image de petite fille sage. De peur d'être un poids pour Tommy, elle tente de devenir plus indépendante et de régler ses problèmes sans l'aide de quiconque. Mais, cela risque bien de lui jouer des tours...
♪ Akemi Hanajima, 17 ans, est une sacrée pimbêche ! Depuis qu'elle a posé les yeux sur Tommy, elle n'a qu'une idée en tête: devenir sa petite amie ! Pour cela, elle va mener une guerre sans merci à Sachiko, son principal obstacle. La plus belle arme d'Akemi est le chantage, dont elle use pour faire régner la terreur parmi les élèves du lycée. Peu importe les conséquences sur autrui, du moment que cela satisfait son caprice. Akemi sera un ange pour Tommy, mais un démon pour ses ennemis.
♪ Yuki Furisawa est la seule véritable amie de Akemi. Dévouée, elle la suit partout et comble aveuglément tous ses désirs. D’un caractère assez effacé, elle ne semble pas douée de volonté propre. Rien ne semble trop bien pour satisfaire son amie. L’intérêt grandissant qu’Akemi porte à Tommy va pourtant ébranler la passivité de Yuki.
♪ Sei Fujihara est un jeune photographe de 21 ans. Enfant surdoué, il a quitté très tôt sa famille pour assouvir sa passion de la photographie. Il a vécu longtemps à l’étranger, et s’est fait une place dans le métier. Il revient aujourd’hui au Japon pour travailler, notamment avec la mère de Kiyoko qui est styliste de mode. D’un tempérament doux, il est de bon conseil pour Kiyoko. Il s’avère être un allié sûr dans les moments difficiles. Mais lorsque l’amour entre en jeu, Sei semble perdre un peu de sa douce assurance.
♪ Sophia, mannequin de 22 ans, est née d’un père Français et d’une mère Japonaise. Elle connaît Sei depuis des années. Elle est à la fois mystérieuse et exubérante. D’un tempérament plutôt dynamique, elle aime que les choses avancent sans détour. Ce qui l’irrite le plus, ce sont les gens qui attendent que la solution leur tombe toute cuite dans le bec. Elle n’hésite donc pas à faire bouger les choses quand il le faut. Et lorsque Sophia a une idée dans la tête, elle ne lâche plus le morceau !
